LaunchTech is seeking a Mission Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. This role supports mission assurance activities through analysis of missile test and operational data, risk assessments, and collaboration with mission partners to improve warfighter operations and system performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

Mission Analysis & Data Assessment

  • Collect, review, and analyze exercise and real-world missile test performance data, reports, and results for functional anomalies

  • Compare and evaluate multiple data sets against operational requirements, intelligence data, and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures to identify and report conformance factors against applicable standards and operational specifications

  • Compile, develop, and present findings and recommendations to improve requirements, system development, and integration approaches to support current and future capabilities

Risk, Impact & Operational Support

  • Assist in performing risk and impact assessments of system changes and upgrades to ensure end-to-end data integrity

  • Participate in Combatant Command Health Checks, providing technical assistance to improve warfighter operations supporting missile warning missions

  • Assist in maintaining Ultra High Frequency (UHF) satellite radios and supporting operations and communication security (COMSEC) management

Collaboration & Reporting

  • With guidance, develop and present reports, briefings, results, and recommendations to mission communities, stakeholders, and boards

  • Coordinate and collaborate with mission partners, government representatives, agencies, and internal team members on a regular basis

What You Bring

Basic Requirements:

  • Must have 3, or more, years of experience in an engineering field

  • Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office suite

  • Must have, or obtain within six months of hire, a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CySA, or equivalent)

  • Must be able to travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations up to 15% of the time

  • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

  • Must be able to obtain an active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility

Desired Requirements:

  • Have a basic understanding of missile warning (MW) and missile defense (MD) operations

  • Be familiar with MW and MD tactical data processor systems

  • Be COMSEC briefed
